Road tripping West USA Day 5

Day 5

Hello San Fransisco

Last night we arrived at our destination.  We collected mom and her hubby from the airport. (side note: SF airport is a nightmare!)

Made it to the Hotel to check in by 9 pm. Just minutes after a busload stopped and filed in to the lobby of the hotel to, yes, also to check in.

Now the holiday was about to begin.
As all good tourists do, first thing we did was bought tickets to the topless hop on hop off city bus.  Now SF is chilly so I don't recommend going topless. If you know what I mean.   But hey, we are on holiday. When in Rome...

Some of the interesting things we saw

A garlic restaurant.  Everything garlic.  Including Garlic Ice cream.  Oh Please excuse the glare.  The tourgide would not let me stand and hang over the top of the bus

 - apparantly going topless is not without rules and regulations ;)

 Pier 39

The trolley

The cutest little rental Noddy Cars... that mom refused to get in to with me! I think she thinks I'm still a bit wild.

A-Mazing lunch of crab and corn bisque in a sourdough boudin. (breadbowl)

And I saved the best for Last:

The Golden Gate Bridge
